Hello people from Ixd,

We are moving into our final week of Studio Project 1. Next Monday, 31 August 2009, everyone will have to reach school at 9am sharp.
You must bring in a completed thumbnail of what your final panel is going to be.

You will all be putting up your thumbnail panels side-by-side in the order that you have agreed on. We will review the continuity of the exquisite corpses, in terms of visual, conceptual or a combination of both qualities.

The template for the thumbnail paper is being passed around. Class I/Cs, please help to distribute the thumbnails to your friends. If you do not have it, the measurements should be 1/3rd of the full size of the panel. (around 9.33 x 29.1cm) on a A4 size paper.

Each corpse group must present what their entire corpse is about, and will be given 10 minutes to talk about their entire collection of panels, before we go into each individual panel for critique this Friday.

And on Monday, 7 Sept, all students must also bring back their panels to put together their exquisite corpses for Open Studios day.
Students must set up their panels on Monday 7 Sept by 2pm, or they will not be graded for their Studio Project.
Good luck, and let's finish this Studio Project with a good ending.

• Illustration tests and exploration of scenes, what-ifs, how-about ideas in your visual journal/your sketchbook
• Colour tests of your scenes and objects and the reasons behind it

Well, the review will be at 9.30am. (Don't be late.)
When you come in at 9am, proceed to take your attendance on the machine, and write your name on the whiteboard.
Tutors/lecturers will be looking at your work based on that order.

For those of you who are having an issue with Copic markers, shawn has adviced that we are to buy 1 set of either warm or cool.
1 set meaning W0 / W2 / W4 / W6 / W8 or W1 / W3 / W5 / W7 / W9

Just as long as you are able to shade with them.
